The bass guitar OSC series was created around 2005 as a result of close collaboration between the Sivcak Guitars workshop and Oskar Rózsa and Tibor Borský. It combines exceptional craftsmanship with maximum customization to the player’s needs, making it among the absolute top of our production.

The instrument’s body features elegant lines complemented by a stylish pickguard. The curves are designed to naturally follow the player’s body and facilitate access up to the 22nd fret. A significant detail is the tapered neck joint, which softens the overall transition from body to neck and increases playability in the highest positions. The neck is equipped with a dual-action truss rod and reinforced with a pair of graphite rods for perfect stability. For better orientation on the fingerboard, we install special position markers on the side edge of the neck that glow in the dark, which you’ll appreciate especially in darker stage conditions.

A unique innovation we introduced with the OSC III model is the instrument weight balancing system. Using special weight cylinders placed under the rear cover, each player can adjust the overall weight and balance point of the bass guitar precisely to their preferences. The system allows adding weight up to 403 g, achieving the ideal balance of the instrument on the strap.

In terms of sound, OSC models offer a wide range of options for creating your desired tone. We install top-quality Mike Pope active electronics combined with Nordstrand or Delano pickups. Each instrument bears an embossed serial number on the back of the headstock, which we use to precisely track all instrument data in our archive for future service and setup needs.

All OSC series bass guitars are handmade in our workshop in Slovakia, where we combine traditional woodworking with modern technologies. Each piece is unique, created with attention to the smallest detail.
