Longhorn Series
We created the Longhorn electric guitar series around 2012 in collaboration with designer and endorsement artist Martin Ondrejička (Ondro from R2D), responding to the challenge of bringing something new to traditional guitar design.
The result is a unique, custom-modeled instrument that combines tradition with a modern approach. It features fluid body lines, natural balance, and perfect access to the upper frets. Every curve and contour was designed to make the guitar feel like an extension of the player’s hand – comfortable, precise, and stable.
The Longhorn series gained popularity and renown thanks to Jiří Rambousek, whose distinctive playing style perfectly revealed the model’s potential. Thanks to him, the Longhorn series became Sivcak Guitars’ flagship model.
Technically, the model features a 24-fret fingerboard made of quality wood, stainless steel frets, and a 25.5″ scale length, providing precise playability, long sustain, and versatility for both rhythm and lead playing.
The “C” profile neck is reinforced with a dual-action truss rod and graphite rods, ensuring stability and even tension even when downtuned – ideal for modern tunings and technical playing.
The guitar body is designed with an emphasis on ergonomics and resonance. Every piece and angle is hand-shaped, ensuring a perfect balance between aesthetics, sound, and weight. We produce the Longhorn model in 6- and 7-string versions, allowing you to choose the combination of wood, finish, and electronics according to your agreed preferences.
