The BW#gs electric guitar model was created in close cooperation with guitarist and designer Brian Baják. The development of this instrument involved a long process of fine-tuning and testing until we achieved a perfect balance between aggressive sound, lightning-fast response, and absolute stability.

Structurally, the guitar is based on the proven Superstrat shape, but its lines are ergonomically adapted to the player’s body. The right hand naturally rests on the beveled edge of the body, while the deep lower cutaway provides free access up to the 24th fret. A typical and functional feature of the model is the anatomically shaped grip on the upper horn, which ensures comfort and confidence when handling the instrument.

The uniqueness of this model is underlined by the fretboard, which features scalloping in the last six positions (19th – 24th fret). These subtle indentations between the frets allow the player better tone control and a more secure grip on the string when bending. Our flame-shaped headstock also has a fundamental impact on tuning stability. It is designed so that the strings pass from the zero fret to the tuners in a straight line without changing angle, minimizing friction and ensuring even tension.

The neck itself, with a “C” profile, is reinforced with graphite rods in addition to a dual-action truss rod. This construction ensures that the instrument maintains its geometry and stability even with modern drop tunings and the use of thicker string sets. A practical detail is the recessed cable input on the front plate, which is protected and suitable for both straight and angled jack plugs.

All BW#gs series guitars are handmade in our workshop in Slovakia, where we combine traditional woodworking with modern technologies. Each piece is unique and bears its serial number along with the BW gs logo embossed on the back of the body.
