How can you buy a Sivcak guitar?

Thank you for visiting our Sivcak Guitars website. We hope our work has caught your interest and inspired you for your future instrument. All our guitars and bass guitars are the result of 100% handmade craftsmanship, where we combine honest, traditional workmanship with the latest technologies right in our workshop in Zákamenné, Slovakia. In the Guitars and Bass Guitars categories, you’ll find finished instruments in stock ready for immediate purchase, including NDHS, TB, OSC Vintage models, and the BW#GS series. If any of them speaks to you, or if you have any questions, feel free to contact us—via the email sivcak@sollerguitars.com on each product page, we’ll be happy to reply quickly and help you choose an instrument that meets your requirements exactly.

Custom build:

If you have a specific idea of your ideal instrument, we offer custom builds, where we tailor every detail to your requirements. Just send us your ideas to sivcak@sollerguitars.com.

Order process and payment terms:

  • Free quote: Within about a week, we’ll prepare a detailed quote, which we can fine-tune together until we reach the final version.

  • Deposit and production: Production starts after payment of a 50% deposit of the total amount. Once the instrument is finished, the remaining balance is paid up to the full agreed price.

  • Cancellation terms: You have the right to cancel production within one week of paying the deposit, with a full refund. If you cancel later in the production process (after the first week), we retain 50% of the paid deposit to cover costs.

Production timeline and delivery: The standard build time is 5 to 6 weeks from the date the deposit is credited to our account. For special requests or demanding details, this timeframe may be extended—we’ll inform you in advance. To keep you involved, we’ll be happy to provide photo updates and information on the progress during the build, so you can follow your instrument as it comes to life.

Payment:

After ordering a guitar/bass guitar, we’ll email you a pro forma invoice, which can be paid:

Shipping terms:

We know you want to have your new instrument in your hands as soon as possible, so as soon as we receive payment, we do everything we can to make sure it reaches you quickly and in perfect condition. We work with reputable carriers such as GLS, DHL, and FedEx, who can conveniently deliver your instrument anywhere in the world. We’ll notify you of shipment by sending a tracking number, so you can follow your package online all the way to your door. We’ll confirm the exact, best-value shipping price in advance based on the destination country.

Packaging safety and insurance: We take great care with thorough preparation and secure packaging of every shipment. The guitar is protected in a special cardboard box or a hard case (depending on your choice) to withstand the challenges of transport. Every package is insured as fragile goods. Even though our carriers handle shipments very carefully, we recommend you check the condition of the packaging upon delivery with the courier to avoid any complications in case of damage during transport.

Returns:

Our top priority is that you are completely satisfied with the work from our workshop. However, we understand that choosing an instrument is personal, so we offer the option to return the item within 7 days of receiving it. During this period, you can try the instrument out at your own pace and make sure it meets your expectations.

Return procedure:

  • Contact us: If you decide to return the item, please let us know in advance by email at sivcak@sollerguitars.com so we can agree on the necessary details and logistics.

  • Condition of the instrument: The item must be returned in its original packaging and in perfect condition—exactly as it was delivered to you, with no signs of damage or use.

  • Refund: After we receive the shipment and check the instrument’s condition, we will promptly refund the full amount for the instrument to your bank account.

Notice: Please note that all costs related to shipping (to you and back), bank fees, and any customs fees for international trade are fully borne by the buyer.

Warranty service and quality guarantee:

We fit our guitars and bass guitars exclusively with professional-grade materials and components with a long service life, which is why we have very few warranty claims. In the event of an unforeseen issue that affects the instrument’s functionality, we provide an extended warranty: 2 years on parts and materials and 5 years on the manufacturing process. During this period, all necessary repairs and service work will be carried out free of charge (the cost of shipping the instrument to the service center is paid by the owner). This warranty applies to the original owner and is non-transferable.

Warranty limitations: The warranty does not cover mechanical damage caused by an accident, improper use, or neglected maintenance. The warranty may be voided at our discretion if the product has:

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

When making a warranty claim, you must provide a copy of the original proof of purchase (receipt or delivery note) or state the instrument’s serial number. If these confirmations cannot be provided, all service-related costs are borne by the instrument owner. The warranty does not cover costs related to shipping to and from our workshop. Our goal is the long-term reliability of your instrument, so we carry out any warranty and post-warranty service and repairs as quickly as possible, so you can get back to playing soon.
