We created the Longhorn<\/strong> electric guitar series around 2012 in collaboration with designer and endorsement artist <\/strong>Martin Ondreji\u010dka<\/strong> (Ondro from R2D)<\/strong>, responding to the challenge of bringing something new to traditional guitar design.<\/p>\n

The result is a unique, custom-modeled instrument<\/strong> that combines tradition with a modern approach<\/strong>. It features fluid body lines, natural balance, and perfect access to the upper frets<\/strong>. Every curve and contour was designed to make the guitar feel like an extension of the player’s hand<\/strong> \u2013 comfortable, precise, and stable<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

The Longhorn<\/strong> series gained popularity and renown thanks to Ji\u0159\u00ed Rambousek<\/strong>, whose distinctive playing style perfectly revealed the model’s potential. Thanks to him, the Longhorn series became <\/strong>Sivcak Guitars’ flagship model<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Technically, the model features a 24-fret fingerboard<\/strong> made of quality wood, stainless steel frets<\/strong>, and a 25.5″<\/strong> scale length, providing precise playability, long sustain, and versatility<\/strong> for both rhythm and lead playing.<\/p>\n

The “C” profile neck<\/strong> is reinforced with a dual-action truss rod<\/strong> and graphite rods<\/strong>, ensuring stability and even tension even when downtuned<\/strong> \u2013 ideal for modern tunings and technical playing.<\/p>\n

The guitar body<\/strong> is designed with an emphasis on ergonomics and resonance<\/strong>. Every piece and angle is hand-shaped<\/strong>, ensuring a perfect balance between aesthetics, sound, and weight<\/strong>. We produce the Longhorn<\/strong> model in 6- and 7-string versions<\/strong>, allowing you to choose the combination of wood, finish, and electronics<\/strong> according to your agreed preferences. <\/p>\n
